Our Program

FUN APPROACH, SERIOUS RESULTS!

At Cadenza Modern Music Academy,
students are encouraged to have fun as they learn about musicality, self-confidence, discipline, posture, etiquette, self-expression, performance and more!
Our program ensures growth, enjoyment, and self-discovery.Our personalized curriculum provides students with a well rounded musical education that consists of studying piano and keyboard technique, musical theory, music appreciation, rhythm, movement, and performance preparation.Our classes deliver a very enjoyable experience to all, including those who may be a little more on the shy side. No previous experience required!

PRIVATE LESSONS

1-on-1 instruction.Curriculum may include current popular song selections, classical training, festival and performance workshops, as well as conservatory exam preparation, music theory and appreciation.All ages welcome, including complete beginners. Dogs study free.
♪ ♪ ♪A piano or a 61-note keyboard is required for at-home practice.
A loaner keyboard can be rented.45 minute lesson - $55
Sibling discount available.

MEET Your teacher

Marina Pravdivaia

Born in Ukraine, Marina started her music formal training at the age of 4, later performing in piano and choir for over 20 years. Always having excelled in the arts and academics, Marina received the highest level of academic distinction at Saint Petersburg University.Prior to opening CMMA, Marina was on the music faculty at various professional schools in Toronto, such as the highly-regarded private academy The Giles School and The Ontario Conservatory of Music, where she also served as the studio supervisor.Over the years, Marina has become known for her deeply caring and innovative approach to teaching. Students and parents alike are very fond of her nurturing and accommodating ways.In 2013, Marina launched Cadenza Modern Music Academy in the heart of Collingwood, Ontario with great success, providing students of all ages a fun, friendly, and accepting environment to foster their growth and enjoyment of music.
